Stribe Mirror

The Stribe Mirror is a double-sided occlusal mirror for dental photography. One intraoral mirror covers upper and lower occlusal views, so you can photograph every biting surface of the full arch quickly and from the right angle.

Why occlusal photos matter

Occlusal views show what a front-facing photo cannot: wear, fractures, existing restorations, arch form and the palatal and lingual surfaces. They belong in every complete clinical photo series, and they are essential records for treatment planning, lab communication and before and after documentation.

How to use it

  1. Retract the lips and cheeks with retractors.
  2. Place the mirror in the mouth, angled so the full upper arch shows in the reflection.
  3. Have your assistant blow a gentle stream of air on the mirror to keep it from fogging.
  4. Photograph the reflection, not the teeth, then flip the image horizontally when you edit.
  5. Use the other side of the mirror for the lower arch.

Who it is for

Dentists and assistants who want clean, consistent occlusal photography for case documentation, lab communication and patient presentations.
