Stribe (stribe.dental) is operated by STRIBE HOLDINGS INC (“Stribe,” “we,” “us”). This notice describes how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit stribe.dental, buy our products or courses, register for our live events, or use the Stribe Back to School member portal and mobile app.
Information we collect
How we use information. To provide and deliver products, courses, events, and member services; process payments; provide support; maintain education and continuing-education records; secure our services and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; and send marketing communications, which you can opt out of at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. When you opt out, we keep a suppression record so we can honor your choice.
Advertising and analytics. We use cookies and similar technologies from our commerce platform (Shopify) to operate the store, remember your cart, and understand site performance. We do not use third-party advertising pixels on this site, and we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide any opt-out required by law.
How we disclose information. To vendors that operate our services (commerce platform, payment processors, event registration, email, shipping carriers, app infrastructure and authentication providers), professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires.
Retention. We retain order and tax records for seven years; continuing-education records indefinitely, so they can evidence your CE credit; support communications for 24 months after the matter is resolved; marketing data until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a suppression record indefinitely to honor your choice; and fraud and security records for 12 months. Where a longer period is required by law, we retain records for that period.
Your rights and choices. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing. Submit privacy requests to contact@stribe.dental. We verify requests before acting and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To delete your Back to School member account specifically, email contact@stribe.dental from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account.”
Children. Our products are professional dental education and are not directed to children under 13.
International transfers. We are based in the United States and process information there. Our products, courses, and events are offered to customers in the United States.
Security. We use commercially reasonable safeguards; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes. We will post any changes here with a new effective date.
